» Pay No Tuition and Fees at EVC for Spring 2022!

We have exciting news! Evergreen Valley College is offering free tuition and zero student fees for spring 2022. 

 

This applies to all California and in-state first-time, continuing, and returning students, including high school students. Students must register for at least 6 units. Students must upload proof of vaccination upon registration.

 

To qualify, You MUST Complete All Three Steps Below:

 

1. Admission Application

Apply for admission through CCCApply. This step only applies to new students or students who have taken a break from college for more than two semesters.


2. Financial Aid Application

Apply for financial aid by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California Dream Act Application, or California College Promise Grant for the 2021-2022 Award Year. Even if you do not think you qualify, applying for financial aid is a must-do step for free tuition and zero student fees for spring 2022


3. Register for Classes

Register for classes through MyWeb the online student portal, for spring 2022.

 

What is covered?

  • Tuition, also known as Enrollment Fees.
  • Health Services Fee
  • Parking Fee
  • Student Activity Fee
  • Student Representation Fee
  • VTA EcoPass Fee (bus pass)


Who qualifies?

  • California residents
  • Students registered in 6 or more units for spring 2022
  • High school students (Dual Enrollment)
  • AB 540 students
  • Students must complete all three steps and meet eligibility requirements to receive free tuition and zero student fees. This offer only applies to spring 2022 enrollment.

EVC hosted its 5th annual Turkey Giveaway. This drive-thru opportunity for EVC students and the community to pick up a turkey, pie, and all the sides and fixings was made possible by our incredible partners at New Seasons Market.


As the holiday season approaches, EVC is committed to addressing food insecurity amongst our students.

» Additional Opportunities for Free Thanksgiving Meals

There will be Free Thanksgiving Holiday Meals provided at 5 different locations within Santa Clara County today and tomorrow, Wednesday 11/24, in partnership with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley.

» Sign Up To Be Part of a New Wellness Program

Feeling tired and lonely? Stressed out? Get personal one to one coaching while staying ANONYMOUS. Connect with other college students and check out evening and weekend wellness groups that support mental wellness, nutrition, and financial awareness.


EVC is partnering with Think Hopeful, Inc. to provide a no cost, one of a kind opportunity. The program offers science-backed mental health curriculum, anonymous connection with other college students, one to one dedicated coaching, and wellness groups. All services are available during after hours and weekends too!

» Fellowship Opportunity

Our partners at Chopsticks Alley Art have launched the Dr. Jerry Hiura Asian Artists Fellowship (JHAAF), which will give students from San Francisco-Bay Area community colleges and universities the opportunity to be a part of the art industry. That includes you, EVC community!


Fellows will learn how to curate and produce art exhibits, create and coordinate community cultural events, work with established artists, and collaborate with surrounding communities and art organizations.
