SELF-EMPLOYED UNEMPLOYMENT IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!
If you are self-employed, gig performer, or independent contractor you can now apply for unemployment under the PUA. Here is what you must do….
1. you have to apply for regular unemployment first-blue button on the state unemployment site
2. you must get your letter in the mail saying you will not receive money for regular UI
3. then you can go to the unemployment site and click on the red button for PUA unemployment
