UPCOMING REIKI CLASS IN ASBURY PARK

I will be entering into a transition in my life this Fall and part of that will be moving out of New Jersey.  Once settled  I am going to take some time to put together an Evolutionary Reiki Class.  I have had the privilege of studying with some extraordinary teachers - Kunzang Dechen Chodron, Gilbert Gallego, Frans Stiene, and Kathleen Prasad. On my website I  have shared that my understanding and practice of Reiki has evolved over a 30 year period of time, and at this point in my life I would like to create a class which reflects that evolution.

So on June 6 and 7 I will give you a sneak peek of some of the most influential teachings I have received from those Masters.  It will not be a Master Class in Usui  Reiki Ryoho as advertised.  

Covid-19 has given me the time to review many notes from my teachers and has helped me to realize the pearls of great wisdom I have been sitting on and I feel it is time to share them.

TAI CHI EASY AND THE TEN PHASES OF QI CULTIVATION  
 
The human system produces the most profound medicine naturally within. Qigong and Tai Chi are time tested tools for activating this incredible human capacity. In the park every morning in China, millions of people practice forms of Tai Chi and Qigong that are very simple, and targeted toward basic energy enhancement and healing.
 
The First Promise of Qi is:  Qi is free and it is everywhere and everyone has direct access to it through simple methods that are easy to learn and practice. Qi can be cultivated purposefully to resolve any challenge or enhance any function.
 
The second promise of Qi is:  Every person who uses Qi cultivation methods consistently experiences some form of health improvement and personal access to greater energy and power. 
 

In this 10   week class we will continue to introduce and review the five movements of Tai Chi Easy and incorporate the ten phases of Qi
cultivatio n into these classes.

THE NINE MOVEMENTS OF TAI CHI EASY
AND TEN PHASES OF QI CULTIVATION

 
These 10 classes  will focus on simple practices to restore and nurture a healthy balance throughout the body, enhance vitality, strengthen and calm the nervous system, still the mind and rejuvenate the mind and body. 
 
Tai Chi Easy is carefully developed method and approach to Tai Chi that makes it easy, beneficial and fun from the very beginning.  The student does not have to devote years to learning the traditional 108 movement form or even the shortened (24,36,42) form to enjoy the calming emotional and health benefits of Tai Chi.

Consensus Report

In November 2005, a panel of more than 30 nationally and internationally recognized experts in Qigong and Tai Chi, physical activity and aging and biomedical research gathered to explore and recommend key strategies on issues related to providing accessible and widespread Qi Gong and Tai Chi programs.
