Curated content on programs and publications from the East–West Center in Washington

Satu P. Limaye

Director, East-West Center in Washington &

Vice President, East-West Center

"For the world, 2024 was a year of both challenges and progress. The Quad marked two decades of cooperation, the Indo-Pacific contributed to the historic year of elections, and the United States set the course for the next four years of engagement with our partners in the region.

Similarly for the East-West Center in Washington, 2024 presented a wealth of opportunities for partnerships, challenges for our programs to keep step with the ever-changing region, and rewarding outcomes for both participants and staff.

We look forward to continuing our work in 2025, and extend our sincere gratitude for the continued support of our mission."

EWCW contributed research regarding Asia's perspectives on the US 2024 elections, produced a report on the legacy and future of the Quad, and continued engaging Congress through the Congressional Staff Program.
