Dear Friends, Colleagues, & Treatment Professionals:

Casa Bella Recovery Services newly introduced extended care program has been open for two months. The most common question we receive is what is extended care? Is it IOP? Is it residential? How does it differ between the two?

Casa Bella Recovery Services is your continuing care solution for women. Our extended care program is a residential option for women transitioning from a primary level of care and/or women who need a higher level of care from an existing SLE.  Our clients are intentionally and mindfully reintegrated into purposeful living, with all clinical services administered and facilitated on site. Therapeutic services include individual therapies, case management and counseling, life skills, nutrition and body esteem groups, cooking classes, daily movement therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and DBT skills groups.  We also customize services for clients with particular needs.

As clients begin to reintegrate, whether work, school or an internship, we wrap continued clinical services to help support the transition more effectively and successfully. With clinical staff on site, our extended care program offers ongoing support to clients who are seeking a balanced approach to goal-setting while nurturing and monitoring their growth.

We are equally proud to announce the tenth anniversary of our sober living program.  Casa Bella Sober Living caters to women discharging primary or extended care programs who are seeking an environment striking the balance between autonomy and containment. We are proud to continue providing excellent support to women in recovery. Our SLE has a 90-day minimum time commitment.

And lastly, our most recent addition to our continuum of care is the Casa Bella Apartment Community. Located in Venice, California, blocks from Abbot Kinney, our apartment community offers an independent living environment for women poised to transition into an autonomous lifestyle.  Independent living provides continued accountability through ongoing random toxicology screenings and weekly apartment checks with our continued care specialists.  Residents must maintain recovery while residing in our community.  A safe community for women transitioning from various levels of care has many benefits.

  • 4-unit women’s recovery community, 10 beds available
  • Three-month commitment, then month-to-month
  • Potential admits will be screened for appropriateness
  • Partially-furnished apartments
  • Weekly apartment checks
  • Random toxicology screening
  • Walking distance from several recovery-related meetings
  • Referrals available for ancillary services
