HELLO EVERYONE

What a whirlwind of excitment there has been in Bettws-y-crwyn over the last long weekend.

The Bettws Triangle Festival was a great success with plenty of wonderful art and an excellent variety of top quality singing, music, dancing and highly amusing recitals all happening over these magical hills of South Shropshire. Such amazing talent right here on our doorsteps. Anyone who missed it, missed a real treat.

Here are Martha Rhodens Tuppeny Dish, one of this years acts, and along with the Shropshire Bedlams, are celebrating their 50th year of dancing. Of course we will be partying next month to celebrate this occasion.

However my main reason for being in touch is to make a final mention of these two courses, both of which have spaces on them, but the good news is that both will be running. These courses offer great opportunities for future development and will keep you going for some time, or maybe you just need a few days away being CREATIVE

JENNY O'LEARY

Inspired by artist John Piper

contemporary batik on paper & fabric

Jenny is returning to Moor Hall for another exciting workshop on 'her take' using batik.This is not the traditional method but a way that Jenny has discovered for herself and it has wonderful results. She will be taking John Piper as her springboard and she know that you will find plenty of inspiration using his work as a source.

An achievable course for the total beginners, but also with plenty of opportunity for those with experience to develop new ways of working.

Still no time to take many garden images, but belive me when I say the garden has been wonderful with a real mix of wildness amongst cultivation.
