Sorry that I have been away from you all for a while now.........wasn't intended I can assure you, but I am back now!!!

I have got seriously behind with posting images from all the wonderful courses that happened here in August and also Matthew Harris's that was in full flow last weekend, but more on these later and in future newsletters.

But first I have the exhibition that I mentioned in a previous newlstter, the work of Surjeet which is on now. See below

This is what Dorothy Tucker one of the curators for this show has to say about this exhibition.

"Many of you will know of Surjeet though the lovely examples of her work which Dorothy has shown you in her kantha workshops here. The exhibition includes several of her contemporary takes on kantha. Do go if you can. Dorothy and Surjeet will be at the private view on Thursday 5 October, and Dorothy will be in and out of the gallery all day on Friday 6 October.  The Penny School Gallery is short walk from Kingston Station, KT2 5BP"

I am sorry for being late with the private view but maybe some of you will still get to see the show this month.

A second exhibition which has the work of a dear friend Jean Draper will also be worth seeing. Here are the details of that exhibtion.

BACK TO DOROTHY TUCKER

Dorothy delivered a fabulous course at Moor Hall Studio back in July/August and here is some of the fabulous work produced. Some of this work was completed over a period of time but started with a course delivered by Dorothy
