July 4th Weekend Cruise
It's a casual hop-on-hop-off affair this year. The EYC Cruisers are heading for St. Michaels on Saturday, July 2, for big doings at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Sunday is free-form, and Monday will bring the fleet back to EYC for festivities here at home. Join for any or all of it; let us know you're coming to get updates.
Meanwhile, Here at EYC ....
We have the best seats in town for the annual fireworks display, so make your plans now!

The club will be closed until 4 p.m. on Monday, July 4, when the gates will open for pre-pyrotechnic celebrations, a terrific buffet supper ($15 for adults, $5 for kids), and plenty of fun and holiday camaraderie.

Members and their immediate families (or plus-one) will be admitted free; guests ($10 each, $5 for kids, no limit) must be accompanied and signed in at the gate.
Fourth of July in the EYC Marina
All reservations for Monday will be handled online as they were for our recent Blue Angel’s event, and admission is free for guest of tenants. Marina tenants planning on hosting can find the registration link for their guest and further instructions using the Club Calendar. Buffet tickets will be available for purchase at the gate following check in.
Notes:
  • No ‘tailgating’ on the docks – all guests must be aboard a tenant's boat
  • Children are required to wear PFDs while on the docks.
  • Transient dockage needs to be arranged prior through the Waterfront Office. Space is highly limited, so please contact waterfront@eastportyc.org

Marina tenants are encouraged to decorate their boats for the occasion if possible.
Chesapeake Stand Up Challenge
The East of Maui–EYC Chesapeake Stand-Up Challenge paddleboard race hits the Severn River on Saturday, July 9, at 8 a.m. As the racers come ashore, live music will be provided by Doug Segree between 9 a.m. and noon. Even if you don't want to race, come to the club and be a spectator, or volunteer to help out on the water or shoreside! It's a great way to enjoy a summer morning with a Bloody Mary or Mimosa, cheering on your favorite SUP racer(s), and listening to the tunes of one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most sought after performers.
Summer Concert with Eric Scott
Saturday, July 9
The Eric Scott Trio will return to EYC to perform some of his modern soulful, funky style on Saturday, July 9, at 6 p.m.. Don't miss out on this fun!
