MONDAY'S & FRIDAYS., MARCO DEMENTIA RESPITE, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the fellowship hall at Wesley United Methodist Church.   Dementia Respite (MDR) is a program for Marco area residents provided by local residents that gives caregivers a hiatus while offering a safe, enjoyable and no-cost haven for loved ones with early stage  Alzheimer’s/Dementia.     Caregivers of potential participants are encouraged to call 239-330-MDR3 (6373). Space will be set aside for 14 participants. Link.

1. March 6-27,, Monday's & Thursday's (7 classes total.) GREAT BOATING SKILLS & SEAMANSHIP (BS&S): A comprehensive instructional program that includes the following topics: Which Boat Is for You; Equipping and Handling Your Boat; Navigation; Weather; The Rules You Must Follow; Knots and Lines; and Your Boat’s Radio. Upon satisfactory completion of the (BS&S) course, the student will qualify to receive a Florida-issued Boater Safety Identification Card (BSIC) which is required for any individual born after January 1, 1988, to operate a motorized vessel of more than 10 HP. Many insurance companies offer discounts with the BSIC. Two BS&S sessions (totaling 7 classes each session) are offered: Mondays and Thursdays!
