EZ Data Logger is a free control and monitoring software package we provide that allows you to view the status of your systems on a computer, take measurements, log data, view trend curves, turn things on or off, send email or sms alarms based on information, trigger outputs, export logs to view in Excel, and view web camera footage.  You can use EZ Data Logger with our Data Acquisition Equipment and can use it with other vendors Modbus devices as long as one of our ICP DAS Modbus devices is in the network.

Q: How do I display analog values in another unit, for example kg?
A: Set Gain and Offset can scale the values to any unit you want. To obtain the exact Gain and Offset, you need to get two values first, and then use following method to get the final result.


Q: How do I activate a Modbus driver?

A: When you install Modbus drivers, you need to connect at least one ICP DAS Modbus device to activate all the Modbus drivers. Then the Modbus drivers will allow access of other Modbus devices like PLC's. 

Q: How do I use remote SQL Server?
A: EZ Data Logger can log data to a remote SQL Server. You have to enable remote connection on SQL Server. Please refer to this document for more details: EZDataLogger_SQLServer
