Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) has dedicated her life to public service, first in Nevada’s State Legislature from 1993 to 2008 and then in Congress since 2012. Her district has been a Democratic strong-hold and formerly favored Democrats by 15 points.
However, redistricting has made Titus’ district much more competitive. Today it is only D+3. The new map adds in more Republican-heavy suburban areas, suddenly making her re-election bid less of a sure thing.
National attention on the Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto’s seat has meant there is more dark money is flooding into Titus' district. The GOP wants to put Nevada in their column from top to bottom.
The Democrats' narrow majority in the House has increased the stakes even more for Titus. We have to keep Rep. Dina Titus in Congress. Chip in here to help.
Unfortunately, like many other communities, Titus’ area was touched by the devastation of a mass shooting. The 2017 shooting at Route 91 Music Festival was one of America’s most deadly massacres. She introduced and passed a ban on bump stocks. She also supported the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act which passed the House over the summer. We can count on her to continue to fight for common sense solutions until gun violence has been eradicated.
Rep. Titus also strongly supports a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Rep. Titus cosponsored the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect the right and access to abortion nationwide.
Political forecasters have rated this race a toss-up. JAC is working hard to re-elect Titus. We are proud to support her. If you can, please donate to Dina Titus today.
