Sehach/Murta is available for order at $25.00 a bunch. You may also contact Rabb Benchlouch (Rabbi@ezrabessaroth.net) if you wish to sponsor the purchase of an Arba Minim set for a member(s) who can't afford to purchase their own set. CEMETERY PILGRIMAGE ON SUN SEP 10 AT 10 AM
It is our Sephardic tradition to make a pilgrimage or "Zyarar" to the cemetery on the Sunday preceding Rosh Hashana. The cemetery pilgrimage will be on Sunday, September 10th at 10:00 am at the Sephardic Brotherhood Cemetery. EB Religious staff will be on hand to assist with the service. Questions? FIRST DAY ROSH HASHANA FAMILY PROGRAM, SAT SEP 16 AT 10:30 AM.
Join us for a special program for kids ages 1-6 celebrating Rosh Hashanah, with kids-tefilah, songs, snacks, and story time. Bring the kids on the second day of Rosh Hashana for a special EB Youth holiday program. Youth leaders Naomi Solam and Avi Behar will teach the children about our Sephardic traditions with songs, games, and storytelling. Snacks are included. There is no charge for this event. SIMHAT TORAH HAKAFOT ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
Celebrate Simhat Torah the EB way with hakafot, lively singing and dancing, and of course Hershey bars donated by Ruben & Rachel Shahon and fresh crisp apples donated by Ralph Capeluto (Thank you!). Minha/Arvit at 6:00 pm followed at 7:20 pm with Kiddush and then Hakafot.
