Announcements

Farewell & Hello

The EaRTH Center would like to send a huge thank you and heartfelt farewell to Annemarie Charlesworth, EaRTH Center Community Engagement Core Director. The effects of her dedication to health professional education and engagement, community advocacy and environmental justice can be felt throughout the Bay Area and is also evident in dozens of successful and critical projects including our Environmental Scholar's Program and the successful launch of our first Community Pilot Award. Annemarie has taken a role as Program Director with Dr. Kim Rhoads' Equity and Action Lab and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.

Please join us in welcoming James Nolan, our interim Community Engagement Core Director. He also concurrently serves as the Community Engagement Manager for a close CEC collaborator, the Western States Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (WS PEHSU). He specializes in addressing social determinants of health disparities and brings a wealth of experience leading community outreach programs and community-based participatory research. We are very fortunate to have him join us! Welcome James!
