Parking on Thursday, June 6
Please note if you are visiting or volunteering at Selwyn the morning of Thursday, June 6, there will be no parking available in the Alexander Graham (AG) Parking lot as AG will hold a moving up ceremony for the 8th grade class that morning.

Please respect our neighboring school’s ownership of the lot and find alternate parking options.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks were distributed yesterday, Monday, June 3. Classroom teachers will pass them out on a day that’s best for the class schedule. If you still need to buy one a few are on sale – first come first served - in the office for $15 cash

On sale through July 7!

Don’t forget to order your prepackaged school supplies for next year!

Each kit includes the exact teacher requested items for the 2019-2020 school year. All kits will be available for pick up in the gym at the “Meet Your Teacher Day” in August.

Remember to choose your child’s grade level for next year (2019-2020).

Mrs. Rorie is Retiring
Mrs. Rorie will be retiring at the end of the school year after serving 29 1/2 years as a teacher assistant at Selwyn Elementary! She began her educational journey in January 1990 in kindergarten and has worked with teachers and students from kindergarten through third grades. Mrs. Rorie’s has worked with the following principals at Selwyn: Mrs. Munn, Mrs. Mosely, Mrs. Beasely, Mrs. Mintz, Mr. Lis, and Dr. Harris. During her retirement, she will be spending quality time with her family and grandson, Landon! Mrs. Rorie stated she will greatly miss working with our students and staff at Selwyn!
Easton the Eagle!
This Spring, our students had the opportunity to name our school mascot (Eagle). The wining name was Easton! Be sure to say hi to Easton the Eagle on the last day of school.
