Men's Night 2025 was a great success. More than 170 men gathered on March 27 in Dominican Hall to celebrate excellence and honor our state championship teams.

The evening included a cocktail hour, steak dinner catered by Berwick, cigars, and March Madness viewing. Speakers were our Principal Deacon Chris Campbell '77, and State Championship coaches Brian Kennedy '92 (football) and Scott Dempsey (girls' soccer).

This annual event is a tribute to Msgr. Kenneth Grimes who was a priest, principal, teacher, coach and mentor to many at Bishop Watterson High School. Proceeds support the Msgr. Kenneth Grimes Endowment Fund.

Wrestling Team Wins DII State Championship

The Bishop Watterson boys wrestling team won the Division II State Championship, the first team championship in the history of the program. This is the third team state championship for Bishop Watterson during the 2024-25 school year, with football and girls soccer winning state championships in the fall!

Senior Mitchell Younger won his third individual state title at 144 lbs. (2022, 2023, 2024). Sophomore Michael Boyle took his second consecutive state title, winning at 215 lbs. His win in 2023 was at 165 lbs.

The Eagles also had two runners-up: junior James Lindsay at 150 lbs. and freshman Tommy Rowlands at 138 lbs. Freshman Thomas Lindsay finished 4^th at 132 lbs.

Art Show is Thursday, April 24

All are welcome to join us for our annual Student Art Show on Thursday, April 24 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the auxiliary gymnasium! Enjoy work by our fine arts students as well as a performance by our Jazz Band and an encore performance from The Spongebob Musical by our Little Theatre troupe. We will also have artwork by feeder school students on display. We hope you can join us!

We held our annual Job Fair for students this week during lunch. Thank you to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Chick-Fil-A, The Buckeye Lady and Vector Marketing for taking the time to talk with our students!

ACT All Stars

The ACT consists of four sections: English, Math, Reading and Science. The highest score a student can receive for a section is 36. A student's composite score is the average of the four section scores.
