Annual Fund Mailing On Its Way To Mailboxes
Dear Fellow Alumni,
As an alumnus, past parent, teacher, administrator and now principal here at Bishop Watterson High School, I have been humbled to witness the commitment that members of our community have shown to Bishop Watterson throughout the years.
Bishop Watterson's mission asks each of us to "Restore all things in Christ," and as a part of a community centered in Jesus Christ, I am asking each of you to help us provide every student with the best spiritual, educational, service and extracurricular opportunities possible.

Most Catholic high schools have a funding gap which is the difference between the actual cost of educating one student and the tuition charged. This is due to the desire to keep tuition affordable for the majority of families. Currently, Bishop Watterson's funding gap is $1,325 per student. The average funding gap across the United States is $1,700.
When you receive our Annual Eagle Fund mailing this week, I ask you to pr ayerfully consider a gift. The Annual Eagle Fund provides funding for tuition assistance, technology enhancements and improved student life.
There is no gift too great or too small.
I will keep you in my prayers; please keep Bishop Watterson High School
in yours.
Deacon Chris Campbell, Principal

Alumni prepare meals at St. Lawrence Haven
The Alumni Department provides service at St. Lawrence Haven on the second Wednesday of each month, preparing and packaging meals for the daily lunch line. We normally volunteer from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
St. Lawrence Haven is the St. Vincent de Paul-run sack lunch program. The Haven sits behind Holy Cross Church at the corner of Rich and Main streets downtown. Approximately 300-500 meals are served each day. The staff at St. Lawrence Haven is very appreciative of the assistance we provide and we are very thankful for the alumni and friends who have taken time out of their busy schedules to help with this service endeavor!
If you are interested in helping on November 16, or at a future time, please email Terri Kernan at tkernan@cdeducation.org. We would love to have you join us!
40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life began on  Wednesday, September 28 and ends on Sunday, November 6. Theology teacher David Klemm is organizing the Bishop   Watterson   community to pray at Founder's Women's Health Center at 1243 E. Broad Street on Sunday, November 6  from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The center is closed on Sundays. Parking is available on the side-street just east of the center.

All are invited to join in this peaceful, prayerful and meaningful experience. Bring a friend and a rosary and stay for just 15 minutes or the entire two hours to show your support for the most vulnerable members of the human family: the unborn.
