Spirit Week is March 11-15

Tacky Tuesday : Wear things that don't match or are just plain ugly!

Wacky Wednesday: Wear your Chapel uniform with crazy socks

Throwback Thursday: Dress from another decade (hippes, 80's, grunge, etc)

Fandom Friday: Wear a shirt from your favorite sports team, hero, rock band....whatever you are a fan of, with regular uniform bottoms.

Peyton from Mrs. Lindholm's 7th grade class is this weeks Artist of the Week. She recently completed two art projects that reflected a beautiful and insightful use of contrast. Both her abstract watercolor painting and her oil pastel portrait feature a strong opposition of black and white versus a variety of vibrant color. The two pieces together make a wonderful pairing.

This week's Preschool and Kindergarten Artist of the Week is Andrew. He did a wonderful job of design and cutting shapes and colors for his collage. The class learned about the artist Henri Matisse. Later in Matisse's life he could no longer paint with a brush due to being a wheelchair and discovered a new modern art form cutting with scissors! Andrew’s art reflects energy and lots of color! Way to go Andrew!
