Grace needs your votes!
We're in the running, but need your votes. This contest is a little tricky, but we can win with your help!

Here are the details of how this contest works. Grace has been nominated in the EDUCATION category for the following things:

EDUCATION
-Best Preschool
-Best Private School
-Best Teacher (Ms. Dunn)
-Best Administrator (Mrs. Bast)

Nominations are open until 3/18 at 11:59 PM. Anyone can still be nominated for any category.

Voting begins 3/19.

Here's where it gets tricky:

-Nominations turn into votes, so at this point, "nominating" Grace for anything is the SAME THING as voting for Grace. It all counts.

-You can nominate or vote one time per day, per device (laptop, phone, desktop, work computer, home computer, kids devices, etc.)

-Below is the link to nominate/vote - make sure to nominate/vote in all the Education categories that Grace is nominated in. (Sometimes it takes a while to load. Just hang in there for a few.)

-Feel free to spread the word! We want to win these award becase we ARE the BEST in Clay County!

The Monday Blues : Wear your favorite blue jeans and dress code top or Grace T-shirt.

Tacky Tuesday : Wear things that don't match or are just plain ugly!

Wacky Wednesday: Wear your Chapel uniform with crazy socks

Throwback Thursday: Dress from another decade (hippes, 80's, grunge, etc)

Fandom Friday: Wear a shirt from your favorite sports team, hero, rock band....whatever you are a fan of, with regular uniform bottoms.

*** 1ST - 6TH GRADE FIELD DAY IS BEING POSTPONED UNTIL MAY***

There will be a BIG surprise Friday afternoon that your child is not going to want to miss! It may or may not have something to do with snow.

Artists of the Week
Congratulations to our new Artists of the Week, from Mrs. McKnight's 6th grade class, Lauren and Madison. They each used acrylic paint to create a beautiful painting of Grace's historic chapel. Their paintings are done in an Imporessionist style with a lot of visible brush strokes and flecks of color. Beautiful work girls.
This week's Preschool Artists of the Week are Levi and Rand. They spent time in class studying the works of Georgia O'Keefe. They each used acrylic paint and folded paper to create a beautiful piece of symetrical artwork. Beautiful work boys!

Did you know that Grace has artwork on display in the community?
At Grace, we empower students to become self-directed critical thinkers.
At Grace, we believe the arts play a vital role in the education of a child. The arts help children develop critical thinking skills and the ability to look at things with a new perspective. All Grace students attend visual art classes and music classes at least once a week. Currently the following Grace students have artwork on display at Compass Bank in Orange Park: Drew M., Hope P., Ana D., Toby E., and Marcy R. Below is a sampling of work from Drew and Hope. Swing by the bank and check out all of our amazing artist's collage self-portraits.
