We want to give you a heads up that Spirit Week at Grace is quickly approaching! This is a fun week that our students always look forward to. Below is the schedule for the week. Please do not purchase anything new for your child to participate in this week. This is meant to be a fun week for our students, not an extra expense for our parents. We are encouraging our students to be creative, and parents to enjoy watching their child's creativity this week.

Go Eagles! | Sports at Grace
Wow! Grace's volleyball team is absolutely amazing! The team started the season without enough players to field a team and finished their season last night coming in second place out of 14 teams in the league tournament! All four matches last night went to three games each, except one. Our six students played their hearts out last night, playing back to back matches. They represented our school with sportsmanship, hard work, dedication, and a lot of class. Congrats to Hailee, Olivia, Lydia, Peyton, Garret, Drew, and Coach Hannah! We are so proud!
Grace's Flag Football team also had an amazing win this week! Congrats to them for winning their most recent game! They will participate in the league tournament this weekend. We know they will do great!
Attention parents of 4th - 8th graders! It's time for Spring Sports Registration. Flag football is open to 6th-8th graders and Track is open to 4th-8th graders. Please download the form to see coach information, practice, and meet/game schedules. Also, please keep in mind the play practice schedule as you think about sports. We will make every effort to accommodate both schedules, if needed and possible. Registration paperwork is due back as soon as possible, with practices starting next week.

These four have surpassed the one million word reader mark in Book Taco and are celebrating with a fiesta provided by the Barnes family! Good work, kids, and thank you Barnes family!
5th graders finished their novel study of Chasing Vermeer and celbrated with special snacks and puzzles.
Pentomino puzzles were part of the Chasing Vermeer celebration.
Third graders shared their animal habitat projects with their 1st grade buddies this week.
Second graders practiced their map skills by burying a treasure and making a treasure map with Mrs. Porter.
X marks the spot!
On the way to Tallahassee last week...
In addition to touring the state capitol, 7th and 8th graders visited the National High Magnetic Field Lab in Tallahassee last week.
Slime is so much fun in PK3!
We've had some gorgeous weather this week! Grace loves when kids can spend time outside.
The 3rd grade animal habitats were pretty impressive. The first graders loved learning with their buddies.
The PK4 class celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by having their own silly sock day.
Someone captured this sweet brother/sister moment on the playground this week.
Artists of the Week| Enjoy these great works!
Congratulations to our new Artist of the Week, Beckett, from Mrs. Hines' fourth grade class. Beckett painted a beautiful picture of the Buckman bridge. His painting is full of rich color and texture created by visual brush strokes. Mom and Dad, it's a frame-worthy piece!
Congratulations to the Kindergarten Artists of the Week, Sophia and Matthew, from Mrs. Hite's and Mrs. Marzec's class. The students used mixed media and the concept of cubisim as inspiration for their work. Their colorful abstract city and cathedral designs of downtown New York City are gorgeous!

After winning the Best of Clay Private School and Preschool categories last year, we noticed a increase in community awareness about our school. This is a great thing because we want everyone to know about our wonderful school, our amazing families, and the high quality educational experience students receive at Grace.

We've been nominated again this year, but need your votes. This contest is a little tricky, but we can win again with your help.

Here are the details of how this contest works. Grace has been nominated in the EDUCATION category for the following things:

EDUCATION
-Best Preschool
-Best Private School
-Best Administrator (Mrs. Bast)

Nominations are open until 3/19 at 11:59 PM. Anyone can still be nominated for any category.

Voting begins 3/20.

Here's where it gets tricky:

-Nominations turn into votes, so at this point, "nominating" Grace for anything is the SAME THING as voting for Grace. It all counts.

-You can nominate or vote one time per day, per device (laptop, phone, desktop, work computer, home computer, kids devices, etc.)

-Below is the link to nominate/vote - make sure to nominate/vote in all the Education categories that Grace is nominated in. (Sometimes it takes a while to load. Just hang in there for a few.)

-Feel free to spread the word! You can share everything on Facebook after you nominate/vote.

-If you save this email, you can just open this email every day from all of your devices and click on the link below to nominate/vote.

-Thanks for helping us out!
And, finally, if you're looking forward to the summer like we are, here's Grace's very own summer camp information. It's going to be a fun summer on campus! Click the button to download the brochure!
