FLYING EAGLES!
We appreciate those who have volunteered so far!  Kids really like the lunch time activity!  Keep it going.  Please see the link below if you're able to give an hour or two of your time.  The kids love this program!

Description: (11:40 - 1:30)

Your job if you choose to volunteer is to establish the beginning and end point of the "track" and hand out sticks as the students pass you per lap completed.  As the students come out for recess they will find you and you place a small marker dot on one of their hands and they are off running or walking!  When they return from their lap you hand them a stick.  You continue this during the whole session.  They hold them and keep track of them and they can participate the whole recess time if they wish.  Some students like to help hand out sticks, it's up to you. Bring a chair to sit in!  In the past, we have set up in the field by the track line across from the water fountain. You pick up the box of sticks from the office when you sign in.  If it's raining and the students aren't out for recess then we don't do this, or if the field is really wet and muddy we don't go out either.

Thank you!!!  We couldn't do it without your dedication and support!

BOX TOPS!

We are hoping to have three contests for the classes to compete against each other this year.

Last school year we earned just over $2,200, and we would love to earn much more this year!

Please save your un-expired Box Tops and send them in to your child's teacher.

Kindness Movement

Liberty Elementary has implemented the Kindness Begins With ME! Bullying Prevention Program again this year as a part of the Community Kindness Movement

http://www.communitykindnessmovement.com/

Liberty kicked-off this year-long program at a schoolwide assembly on September 21, 2017 during the annual Kindness Week celebration. Liberty Elementary is one of eighteen schools in Idaho that have joined the movement, by implementing the Kindness Begins With Me Program. Liberty Elementary PTA raised enough money at our annual Liberty Love Auction to provide over 600 bright yellow "Kindness" shirts to each student and staff member of Liberty Elementary. Shirts will be used as a visual tool and will be worn on the third Thursday each month to celebrate Kindness Day along with a monthly Kindness theme.

We were fortunate to have local media come and support our Community Kindness Movement kick-off! Thank you to KIVI Channel 6 and KTVB Channel 7! Please see the links below to view. Make sure to like our http://facebook.com/LibertySchoolPTAfor updates and monthly Kindness information!
