Generosity: Sharing Time, Talent, and Resources
An Immanuel Lutheran Church family generously partnered with our school to provide an improved quality learning environment, while reducing electrical costs. The family purchased more than 500 LED bulbs and, as a family project, they and their children changed the bulbs in hallways and classrooms over several weekends. We are so blessed and wish to thank these volunteers for their generosity and partnership in Developing Today's Disciples!
Sing & Play Returns Wed., Sep. 5!
Wednesdays When School is in Session 11-11:45 AM in the gym
Sing and Play is a parent-toddler class designed specifically for young learners, 18 months and older. During the class, children can sit comfortably on mom or dad's lap, and gently ease into a class setting. Through familiar, action based songs, short teacher-led stories, and object lessons, visual stimulation, and group participation, children begin the process of learning how to behave in a group setting and how to interact with children next to them. They grow in their ability to listen and attend and practice following directions and making predictions. Sing and Play sessions begin with a small group circle time and then move into large motor free play time utilizing gym equipment. Sing and Play is a free class that requires no registration or commitment. Come and play each week or whenever is convenient. Siblings are always welcome!
