Free admission when you wear Immanuel spirit wear!

Seven schools from as far away as New Haven, Indiana, and Freeport, Illinois, will participate. Games begin Friday evening, Feb. 8, and continue through Sunday afternoon. Additional activities include a 3-point Shoot Out and a Free Throw Contest on Saturday, as well as the ever-popular Chuck a Duck (made popular at the varsity girls basketball and volleyball tournaments). In addition, Immanuel’s Student Council is hosting a Neon Night dance for students in grades 5-8 from all tournament schools immediately following the Sat. 5:30 PM worship service.

The tournament committee has worked incredibly hard putting this new tournament event together. In order to make it successful, your help is needed. Please consider volunteering an hour or two. Volunteers are needed for admissions and concessions, as well as scoreboard operators and hall monitors. This will be a fun opportunity to serve and cheer on our Eagles. Click signup.com/login/entry/647008495649760018 to volunteer. Enter your email address (you will not need to create an account), and sign up. (Your email address will not be shared.) If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Susie Lester at doodlebg815@aol.com.

Explore God
Over the course of seven weeks, we’re tackling some of our biggest questions about life, God, and Jesus. Everyone is invited—this is a great opportunity to invite friends and family who are conflicted about the concept of faith. Invitation cards are available in the church lobby to help you do just that.

There is also an open discussion group exploring these questions on a deeper level. Join the conversation on Mondays at 6:30 PM at Pal Joey's in Batavia.

If you have questions, please contact Pr. Eric Kennaugh at 630 879 7163 or ekennaugh@immanuelbatavia.org

Wheaton Academy Future Family Night
Monday, February 11 |  Check-in: 6:40-7:00pm
On February 11, we are hosting our Future Family Night —a great introduction to our school. We will highlight our academic philosophy, approach to spiritual development, and an overview of our school distinctives throughout the evening. The night will include an interactive campus tour and an opportunity to ask current students, teachers, and administrators any questions families may have.
We will answer some questions including:
·          How does Wheaton Academy prepare my student for the future?
·          How does Wheaton Academy integrate faith and learning?
·          What types of academic classes, including AP courses, are available for my student?
·          How do I navigate the Admissions Process?
·          What is the spiritual culture like at Wheaton Academy?

Parents and middle school students are welcome to attend this event as our sessions cater to both parents and students.

If you have any questions about Future Family Night, please reach out to our Admissions Office. We are happy to help, and we are grateful for your efforts to spread the word!
See you soon!
