"Before"

1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.

1 Corinthians 2:7 (AMP)But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God—[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].

1 Corinthians 2:7 (NLT2) No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.

1 Corinthians 2:7 (GW) We speak about the mystery of God's wisdom. It is a wisdom that has been hidden, which God had planned for our glory before the world began.

We talk about a mystery, what greater one would we understand over and above the mystery that Christ was at the foundation of the world and before anything was, God, the Son and the Holy Spirit were. What is even more above and beyond is the idea we were with Him, in His heart, His plans and His purposes. A book of remembrance and a book about our life and goals for our life were hidden in God before the foundation of the world.

This is so simple and specific and written in Psalms 139, so my question is, “why did those saints who went before us, not tell us about this monumental piece of Knowledge for it could have made a great difference in the lives of a lot of folks who simply drank ‘milk’ all of their lives and never went beyond the going to the church building, putting their time in, having potluck dinners and a picnic every now and then.

This chapter in Psalms speaks of a plan that the Heavenly Father wrote down as a vision and goal and dream for every one of us and it was His greatest desire that we fulfill all that is written about us in this book of lifePsalm 139:16 (NASB) Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139:16 (AMP) Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there were none of them.

This is the message of the ordaining of man by almighty God and He has written down the life He expects of all His creation. A life to prosper us and give us a future and hope, free from the pains, sickness, disease, failure and hopelessness that is offered to those who do not believe and give to those who are transformed to be just like Him. Psalm 139:14 (NASB) I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
