Enticing: To incite or instigate, by exciting hope or desire; usually in a bad sense; as, to entice one to evil. Hence, to seduce; to lead astray; to induce to sin, by promises or persuasion. To tempt; to urge or lead astray; to allure; in a good sense.

So many of us who preach and/or teach the Word of God, spend countless hours belaboring over endless study helps and manuals that produce for us an understanding of the Word. We must get our message across, and we must speak it just right and have preparation to the ‘Nines’. Often, we get ourselves into bondage to producing a message in tune with what we feel makes sense but miss God in the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a common sense or make sense type of person. As a matter of fact, if it makes sense to you, it probably is not from the Holy Spirit. This is how we teachers find ourselves in error and so many either quit the ministry or become subservient to a world of non-effectiveness and are misguided as to what the Father is saying to the church.
So, I want to warn those folks who have found themselves attempting to come up with a world of intellectualism or try and guide or persuade those you are accountable with your enticing words of man’s wisdom. It is of the utmost importance for all of us to develop a relationship with the Lord and get to know Him on a one-on-one basis so He can find our heart, and you can know His. He is the one who is steadfast, never changing and never vacillating from one thing to another. The world is looking for a believer who is rock solid and never changes to the point where they recognize him, whether they agree with us or not. They want to know that we truly believe in what we say and are ready, willing and able to not only teach, describe, and present [preach] the Word of God in a very stable and consistent manner, but most of all that we practice what we preach and live a life exemplary to the Christian examples that God has laid out to us.
Years ago, I heard a story by a Colonel in the Israeli Army who told a story of a supernatural appearing of a manifestation of God, to the point that he turned into a believer, just from the Miracle. He went on to say that most Jewish folks are not believers in the Christian message because they do not see or hear about the miraculous, yet many believers say the miraculous has passed away or God dropped it somewhere along the pathways of our life. We must develop our own miraculous and stir up the unbeliever to jealousy that we might win the multitudes. That is how Jesus did it and is doing it even today. Hebrews 13:8 (MSG) For Jesus doesn't change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, he's always totally himself.
