"Wisdom"

1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (AMP) So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (NLT2) I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (NCV) This was so that your faith would be in God’s power and not in human wisdom.

Wisdom: The right use or exercise of knowledge; the choice of laudable ends, and of the best means to accomplish them. This is wisdom in act, effect, or practice. If wisdom is to be considered as a faculty of the mind, it is the faculty of discerning or judging what is most just, proper and useful, and if it is to be considered as an acquirement, it is the knowledge and use of what is best, most just, most proper, most conducive to prosperity or happiness. wisdom in the first sense, or practical wisdom is nearly synonymous with discretion. It differs somewhat from prudence, in this respect; prudence is the exercise of sound judgment in avoiding evils; wisdom is the exercise of sound judgment either in avoiding evils or attempting good. Prudence then is a species, of which wisdom is the genius. WISDOM gained by experience is of inestimable value.

When it comes to the principle of wisdom, there is no other scripture more defining than the Book of Proverbs. Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.  (AMP) The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).

I teach wisdom hard in the Warrior class and I find it is the one thing that can be all inclusive. It can heal you, save you from a destructive marriage, set the captives free, move mountains, help you choose a proper pathway, gives you insight into how to do a thing or how the blessings are manifested. In short, it is the principal thing, just as the scripture says. Proverbs 1:7 (AMP) The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline.

This means it is first and foremost into the life of the believer and should be adhered to right down to the finest detail. There is a quick and simple way of developing wisdom for living a life of freedom, prosperity and health. Read a chapter of Proverbs daily and 5 chapters of Psalms and take them like medicine. Your mind will be renewed, and you will start changing and you won’t even recognize the change. All of those around you will.

On top of all of this, do it daily and don’t let a day pass without injecting your mind and heart with this incredible ‘supplement’. You have 10 times more tools available to you than we had just 10 years ago. It will bring health to your flesh and life to your soul.  Proverbs 3:8 (NKJV) It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. It is truly God’s way of changing you to be a true Warrior in the Kingdom of God. In all your getting, get wisdom.
