Jesus Christ: Also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ, was a first century Jewish preacher and religious leader. He is the central figure of Christianity. Most Christians believe He is the incarnation of God the Son and the awaited Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament.

Most everyone even in the world would accept this idea about the Man Christ Jesus, but only the Christian steps over the line and says that He was God as well as man. Every Christian must come to grips with just exactly what this scripture means. As I have had conversation along this Biblical statement, I find we have a wide variety of thought as to what the writer of Hebrews was referring.
I too was in that group of folks, but in 1975, I settled it in my heart and made the determination that He is what He said He is and He can do what He says He can do. He chose to live in me, and He uses us to fulfill or continue His Word on the earth. Follow Jesus around and find out what He was doing and begin to exercise your faith in those areas. Colossians 1:27 (NASB) to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
When this change came to my life, this is the story of what happened to a friend and I in early 1980. We heard there was a certain African American living in a very tough part of town, who had been sent home to die. He had terminal cancer and was told there is nothing more could be done. Bud and I were discussing the truth of Hebrews 13 and made the quality decision to lay hands on Him. We found his address and went to his home in Lima, Ohio. We did not know him so we were a bit cautious thus we knocked on the door, asked if we could pray with him not knowing his reaction. He welcomed us in, explained his end-of-life circumstance. We spoke with him concerning the Word of God and what it had to say about Jesus’ ministry where healing was concerned. As faith began to fill his heart, we asked if it would be well to lay hands on him in obedience to the Word of God and would he believe along with us. He agreed! We laid hands on him out of obedience to the Word and the rest was in his and God’s hands. God is monitoring the Universe. Jeremiah 1:12 (NASB77) Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it." He is not the doer but works through us for this is His purpose in use of Power of the Holy Spirit and His anointing dwelling in us.
Time passed and my friend Bud moved to Atlanta in 1986, looking for construction work. Several years later in the late 1990’s, Bud was working on a construction project for a local church in Atlanta. There he met an African American gentleman who had lived at one time in Lima, Ohio, but had moved to Atlanta several years earlier. He was explaining to Bud that a couple of gentlemen some 20 years ago had stopped by his house to pray with him. He was dying of terminal cancer and was sent home to die. When Budd asked him if he remembered the names of the gentlemen, he remembered the name Steve Doyle. You see, God healed him the moment we prayed. I do not know when the manifestation showed up, but 20 years later he was standing in front of Bud, telling his story.
Now I want you to know, if it takes 20 years to reveal a miracle of God, it is just as sweet as the day we prayed. When we walked out of that man’s home, we turned it over to the Lord and it was not a care or concern of ours any longer. You see, God did not ask us to heal the man, he ask us to lay hands on him. God is not a man that He should lie, he is God and He works through us to perform His Word.
