As we discovered yesterday, being quiet, studying, finding out what God has to say about a thing, and moving forward is the process of walking in faith and doing what God has already planned for your life. The scriptures say we are already priests and kings. Revelation 1:6 (NKJV) and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” This makes us completely different from the Old Testament folks. We are already priests and kings, not trying to be. Jesus made us that way, but it is our responsibility to dig it out and find out what He has done for us. Quite like a man who is an heir, he already gets to enjoy the benefits of the powerful family that he was born into, he just needs to mature and grow into the type of person who would be responsible for this kind of power. You would not put a loaded gun in the hands of your 4-year-old son, but much good can come from the responsibility of that gun. Protection, food, and strength are a few things that we extract from the privileges of a gun, but the child is not ready yet. That time is up to you and the time you choose to be in the Word and let it change you into the image of the Son of God. This is what the word does.
You see, it is the Kings privilege to discover these powers the Lord has laid aside to those that desire them. We are all kings and priests; therefore, all who are in the body of Christ have the same rights and privileges to discover what belongs to them. God is not spouting his opinions or telling everyone what He is thinking but allowing you to find the things that belong to you
Let me give you an example of what this scripture is saying to me. Several years ago, I was looking at a piece of land to purchase. The sign on the property had rotted and fallen but each time I would drive by; I was impressed to pursue the purchase of these 20 acres. It was prime land, but folks were avoiding it like the plaque. Upon contacting the individual whose name was on the sign, we struck a deal, and the contract was in place. It took approximately 9 months to complete the transaction because I had committed to the Lord, I was not borrowing money, and I did not have funds to complete the contract. The story is much to long for a posting, but when the deal was complete, God performed an amazing miracle. In conversation with the Lord, one of the important dealings with the project was my silence. No one knew what I was doing or how I was doing or when I was completing this endeavor. It was hidden in God, and I was discovering how to tap into the secrets of the Kingdom, for they are hidden in God and are there for us to discover. It was an amazing experience. I tapped into the power of God to make a financial decision. It works for every endeavor.
