No matter how much fun and excitement money can be, it is only a blessing when earned and gathered in the correct manner.

In a business deal, there will always be an opportunity to bend the rules, tell a little white lie, and distort the truth for the benefit of the moment. Proverbs says: 20:14 (AMP) it is worthless, it is worthless! Says the buyer; but when he goes his way, then he boasts or brags [about his bargain].

Some folks would say he was just a shrewd person, but it is never shrewd to be a liar. We don’t see it in that scripture, but money gained without godliness will turn to worms eventually and the fall will be great. Habakkuk 2:9 (TLB) "Woe to you for getting rich by evil means, attempting to live beyond the reach of danger. We often think in terms of ‘War Lords’ or some other criminal behavior, but in the simple and seemingly meaningless sins are no different. Proverbs 8:13 (NCV) If you respect the LORD, you will also hate evil. I hate pride and bragging, evil ways and lies.

Be careful how you handle your conversations and don’t exaggerate your position in the business conversation. Leave room for God to do His job and don’t get in His way. If you do, He will stand back and let you get your results and there will be no anointing on the transaction. God always does exceedingly abundantly above anything you can think or ask, He does not need your help, especially when we violate His Word in some way. God rewards faith, so stand strong in what you are believing in and God will not only award you but will do it in amazing fashion.
