AMC Mountains and Music Weekends bring together participants of all ages who share a love of classical music and the outdoors.
 
Outdoor activities include hiking, X-country skiing, and snowshoeing, led by Nature's Classroom or AMC-trained leaders in the beautiful Monadnock Region. Downhill skiing is available nearby.

Musicians can participate in …
  • Three choral workshops or reading orchestra rehearsals.
  • Chamber Music mixer
  • Early music (recorder) ensembles
  • Chamber music and/or small singing groups
  • Saturday evening Coffee House – an opportunity for all to enjoy the myriad of participants’ talents -- musical, literary and humorous.

What's included:
  • The weekend begins Friday with dinner and ends after lunch on Sunday.
  • Two-night package includes 2 dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts, 2 nights lodging, tax, gratuities and an activity fee.
  • There are no one-night options.
  • You can request roommate(s).

Accommodations:
Sargent Center provides clean, comfortable, heated bunk rooms. There are some double rooms for couples. All beds, including those in double rooms, are single beds. Bed linens, a pillow, one blanket, a bath towel, and a hand towel are provided. Bathrooms are shared. You might wish to bring an extra pillow and blanket.

Food:
Wholesome, hearty dinners, lunches and breakfasts are included. If you have dietary requests, the staff will do their best to accommodate your needs. Be sure to indicate any special needs on the registration form. Fixings for lunches will be available to all after breakfast; you may eat on the trail or in the dining hall. You may bring alcoholic beverages if desired.

Registration:
To register, download and print the REGISTRATION FORM   and  the LIABILITY WAIVER , then submit them, one set of forms per person, along with your payment. Remember, to be eligible for the Early Bird discount, registration packets must be postmarked by February 1, 2020.
 
Confirmation :
Emails confirming your acceptance will be sent as registrations are received and will include important additional weekend details and directions to the lodge. If the weekend is oversubscribed, those who are not accepted will be notified and placed on a waiting list.

Cancellation Policy:
14 days or less no refund per Nature's Classroom policy.
