Topic: Child-Directed Play/Learning
This month, Dee Dee Thurber, M.E., ECPDS, ECA, CCAoNH, Program Manager, will be joining us to present Child-Directed Play/learning. Child-directed learning encourages children to explore topics meaningful to them. This leads to a state of flow as they are taking steps into their own learning experiences. When we encourage children to step into their own areas of interest, it naturally lines up with developmentally appropriate practices and their current stage of development. Join us as we discuss ways for programs to make the shift to Child-Directed learning (and play).
