Early Childhood and School-Age Care Policy Notes

Several early childhood bills have received support in Senate Appropriations, most recently SB 2301 relating to the establishment of a childcare stabilization program received a do pass recommendation this morning. It will now go to a vote on the Senate Floor. Bills will be finalized in committee and voted on the House and Senate floors over the next few days as crossover approaches.

Afterschool Day on the Hill - Join Us Next Week!

Join us for Afterschool Day on the Hill on February 22! We invite any out-of-school time program, school-age childcare, or summer program working with youth ages PreK through Grade 12 to register to attend and showcase to legislators and state agency representatives the ways you are positively impacting North Dakota's youth, families, and communities. Not only is this a great way to advocate for school-age youth, but also to involve youth in the legislative process! Travel reimbursement is available.
