Sioux Falls Childcare Collaborative

President of SDAEYC, Janessa Bixel and Early Learner South Dakota Director, Kayla Klein, joined the Sioux Falls Child Care Collaborative in a Sioux Falls networking event to discuss the crisis of childcare. Sioux Falls Mayor TenHaken was also in attendance speaking to how the crisis in childcare has had effects in all aspects of the community.

The Sioux Falls Child Care Collaborative and Sioux Falls Thrive announced that Nicole Fluth and Rana DeBoer have been chosen as the coordinating team for the Community Childcare Initiative, a six-month project tasked with finding solutions to the childcare crisis in Sioux Falls. Fluth and DeBoer bring to the table more than 50 years combined experience in human development and a sharp understanding of the people, businesses, and leaders in the Sioux Falls community.

Early Learner South Dakota was happy to be a part of the events and thanks the city of Sioux Falls for everything they are doing to help shed light on the child care crisis.
