1.) Easter Prayer
I wish you all a good Holy Week and a relaxing Spring Break. There will not be a newsletter next week, but please feel free to email me with anything that you need. Thank you for all that you do for the Early Learners in our schools.
God, may we feel the warm embrace of your love on this sacred day. May the glory of Jesus's resurrection remind us that with You, nothing is impossible or without hope. We pray in Your name. Amen.
2.) Butterfly Pediatrics Monthly Meeting – Tuesday, March 26th at 3:15pm
We have been having wonderful monthly sessions with our Partners at Butterfly Pediatrics this year as their experts join us virtually to answer your questions and give resources/ideas about behavior, social emotional needs and sensory processing situations in your classrooms. Our next session is on Tuesday, March 26th at 3:15pm.
To make the most of our hour with them can you please email me at
david.mayer@seattlearch.org by Monday, March 25
th with any behavior, social emotional needs and sensory processing situations you are dealing with that you would like the experts from Butterfly Pediatrics to discuss during the virtual meeting. I will be sending these case studies in advance to the Butterfly team so they can be prepared to give you as much information as possible during our time together. Even if you are not able to join the meeting, you can still submit situations and we will record the conversations and send a recording link. Also, please feel free to also send this information to your Kindergarten, 1
st and 2
nd grade teachers as they are now invited to these meetings as well! Thank you!

3.) Licensed ONLY - Licensing “WAC” of the week: License Fees
This week’s WAC focus is License Fees. There was a bill during the last legislative session that would have eliminated fees, but it did not make it out of both houses so our programs will continue to pay it. Your annual fee is sent to the address on file with your license and should amount to the following:
The annual fee for center early learning programs is one hundred twenty-five dollars for the first twelve children plus twelve dollars for each additional child.
