2.)   March Monthly Early Learning Professional Development: FLIP IT! Saturday, March 9th and 16th from 9:00am – 12:00pm
Our March monthly STARS training will be the very popular FLIP IT! training. It will be presented by Tracy Collins from ESD 112 and take place on two consecutive Saturday’s March 9th and March 16th from 9:00am – 12:00pm. You must attend both sessions and upon completion will receive 6 STARS hours.

FLIP IT is a four-step supportive strategy to help young children learn about their feelings, gain self-control, and reduce challenging behavior. FLIP IT! teaches adults how to respond positively to everyday challenges and challenging behaviors in children ages 3 to 8. 1. Learn how to respond positively to everyday challenges and challenging behaviors. 2. Become familiar with a four-step strategy used to help young children identify their feelings. 3. Help children learn healthy self-control and reduce challenging behaviors.

3.)   Licensed ONLY – Licensed Program Webinar: Interactions and Curriculum Learning Supports
During this school year the Licensed Program Webinars are going to focus on different sections of the WAC. My hope is that these short (5-15 minute) webinars can give you bite size portions of the Early Learning WAC’s material in order to help our programs stay in compliance. This month the focus is on the first of 3 sections of the Interactions and Curriculum Section: Learning Supports. Please see below for the Webinar link and let me know if you have any questions.
