GREG O'BRIEN & HIS WIFE SHARE THEIR STORY.

The Alzheimer's Association is honored to welcome Greg O'Brien and his wife to the 2015 'A Love Not Forgotten' gala. They will share a bit about their personal journey with Alzheimer's and the effect the disease has had on their relationship and family.

O'Brien was diagnosed in 2010 with early on-set Alzheimer's disease and has chronicled his experiences in the book "On Pluto." He calls it the most imbedded assignment in his 35-year journalistic career.

A 1972 graduate of the University of Arizona, O'Brien and his wife lived in Phoenix from 1978 to 1982 when he was an investigative reporter for The Arizona Republic. Since moving to Massachusetts, he has been a reporter for daily newspapers in Boston, editor and publisher of the "Cape Codder" and Register Newspapers, editor of "Cape Cod Life," and editor and author of several books.

He and his wife Mary Catherine have three children: Brendan, Colleen, and Conor
