VOTING BEGINS

There are three ways you can vote in the April 4 non-partisan elections:

First - Vote by Mail

If you've signed up to receive a ballot in the mail you should have either just received it or will get it in the next few days.

If you haven't signed up and still wish to do so, you can sign up online at the Cook County Clerk's website HERE FOR BALLOT APPLICATION or you can print the application form HERE.

Once you cast your ballot you can drop it in the mail or drop it off at one of the drop box locations. The two closest locations are the early voting locations noted below.

Second - Vote at Early Voting Location

We have two early voting locations in Schaumburg Township:

Trickster Art Gallery

190 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg

Hoffman Estates Village Hall

1900 Hassell Rd., Hoffman Estates

The dates and times for both locations are the same.

March 20 - April 3, 2023

Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Third - Vote at Your Polling Place April 4, 2023

The polls will be open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

You can find your polling place HERE.

***********************************

We cannot stress enough the importance of voting in these local elections. Less than 15% of eligible voters actually vote so YOUR VOTE can make a huge difference. This is especially true in this election because the Schaumburg Area Democrats (SAD) are pushing hard for their far left extreme WOKE candidates.

Northwest Citizens for Common Sense has asked me to include their sample ballot in this email and I am happy to do so.

STRO REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

REGISTRATION BY NOON ON MARCH 23 REQUIRED HERE

[Everyone preregistering by the deadline will receive a chance to win a prize at the meeting - winner needs to be present]

This month's meeting will be a Meet and Greet featuring 2023 members of STRO who are candidates for various positions on the ballot in the April 4, 2023 local non-partisan elections. This continues our long-standing practice of inviting candidates in local non-partisan elections to present their credentials to our members and the public at large.

All local candidates who are current STRO members are invited to attend and briefly speak to the group. There will be a social time after the meeting for attendees to individually speak to candidates of their choosing.

This meeting will be held at our usual meeting place, Chandler's Banquets, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The doors will open at 7:45 am with the buffet breakfast at 8:15 am. The program will begin at about 8:45 am. There is a $20 charge for current 2023 members and $25 for non-members for the extensive buffet breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, danish, juice, coffee and tea). All members and non-members are invited to attend.

Due to the number of people expected, registration is required.

Go HERE to Register. If you have trouble registering, please call our office at 224-353-6543 and leave your full contact information and we will add you to the attendance list. You can also register by going to our website at www.stgop.org.
