Early Voting at Fremont Township
Early Voting at Fremont Township will run from March 2 - March 14, Monday -Friday from 9:00 am -5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am -2:00 pm. We are located at 22385 Route 60, Mundelein and early voting is around the back of our building in the lower level.

Have You Filed For Your Senior Homestead Exemption?
If you have turned 65 and own a home in Fremont Township that is your primary residence, please make sure you apply for your senior homestead exemption to save money on your property taxes. Call our assessor Joe Herchenbach's office if you have questions at 847 223-2846 This does not apply to Saddlebrook residences.
Blood Drive
On Tuesday, February 18 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mundelein School District 75 will be hosting a Community Blood Drive at the District Office, 470 N. Lake Street, Mundelein.

This is the second blood drive the district is sponsoring in honor of Kindergarten teacher Kristen Meister, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in August 2018. That fall, Meister received the good news that her CT scans showed minimal traces of the cancer after 3 months of treatments. She returned to work in January 2019.

Residents in our area have received a Netflix scam by email. The tell you they have attempted to charge you for your membership but need you payment information. Don't fall for this!

Lake Forest Civic Orchestra Presents Beethoven- March 8
This year is Beethoven's 250th birthday and the concert this time will feature Beethoven's 5th Symphony - the one that everyone recognizes. There will also be a performance of a Beethoven Violin Concerto. Celebrate Beethoven's Birthday and Spring.
Green Living Fair Saturday, March 14
The 10 th Annual Green Living Fair will be held on Saturday, March 14 th from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St. in Libertyville, IL. Admission is FREE! The event is sponsored by the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation and Lake County Green Congregations.

This year’s theme is The Food Cycle; from earth to harvesting, packaging, consumption, food waste, composting and returned to earth . Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with many new exhibits this year featuring local environmental groups, farms, businesses. Continuous 30 minute Speaker Forums will address today’s environmental challenges related to food . New this year attendees will have an opportunity to discuss sustainability with local leaders. No Goods or Services will be sold directly at the fair.

Kirk Players Present The Jungle Book

All the wonderful animals of the magnificent jungle will keep you mesmerized Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29 at 2:00 p.m. Playing for one weekend only, this show is perfect for families of all ages! All performances are located at Mundelein High School auditorium. Rules of the Road Review Class at Fremont Township
APRIL 16 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The State of Illinois will again be holding a Rules of the Road Class at Fremont Township. The Rules of the Road Review Course is designed to give drivers – especially senior citizens and persons with disabilities – the knowledge and confidence needed to renew or obtain a driver’s license.
The review course combines an explanation of the driving exam with a practice written exam.

Shredding Event Scheduled
Our Shredding Event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 am til noon at the Fremont Township Administrative Office at 22385 Route 60, Mundelein.
AARP Rules of the Road
MAY 14 @ 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The AARP Defensive Driving Course will be held on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 from 9:00 am til 1:00 pm. Call Nancy at 847 223-2847 to register. $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non AARP members. You must attend both classes.
TOI Will Award Seven $2,000 Scholarships in 2020
Must be a graduating Illinois high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

Must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Illinois. Must plan to attend a university/college in Illinois.

Must have a history of extracurricular activities that demonstrates a willingness to accept leadership responsibilities (student government, club officer, etc.) or a commitment to civic responsibility, social consciousness and a willingness to serve the community (community service projects, volunteer activities with local service agencies or charitable institutions, etc.) More Information
What Identification Do I Need For Real ID?
REAL ID goes into effect on October 1, 2020.
For Illinois residents who fly domestically, effective Oct. 1 2020 the federal government will require you to use a valid U.S. passport or obtain a REAL ID from the Illinois Secretary of State’s office.
