Dear friends and neighbors,

Election Day is the last day to vote, not the first. Early voting in Florida is HAPPENING NOW until November 1st. You can cast a ballot by appearing in person at a local elections office or other designated location during a designated period prior to Election Day.
A Year in Review
As we near the end of 2020, I want to give you an update on some of the things Team Soto has accomplished during the 116th Congress.
Legislation
This Congress, nine of my bills passed the House including legislation to establish the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando as a national memorial site. Full list here.
Amendments
Military families, especially our deployed troops, deserve Congress’s unwavering support. That's why I'm proud to have secured millions of dollars for our military and district in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). For a full list of the amendments I've passed, click here.
Funds
Nothing is more important to me than getting our community the resources and funding it needs to succeed. This Congress, I was proud to secure $359 million in grant funding for our community, including money for COVID-19 testing, housing assistance and more. A full list of funding for our district can be found here.
Democratic Priorities For The People
From day one of the 116th Congress, Democrats have been fighting for the American people. The Democratic Majority has passed legislation to lower the cost of health care and prescription drugs, raise wages for American workers and strengthen our economy, and clean up corruption in our government and strengthen our democracy. While Republicans fail the American people on issue after issue, Democrats put American families first. In the middle of a global pandemic, Democrats made a strong, strategic, science-based plan for testing, tracing and treatment to crush COVID-19. We are continuing to negotiate with the White House to reach agreement on coronavirus relief legislation as soon as possible.
During this time of stress and uncertainty, each of you should know that I am here to support you. On behalf of the hard-working families of Central Florida and all Americans, I will continue to work tirelessly with the House Democratic Majority and across the aisle to put you first and protect Americans’ health, safety and economic security.
