In case you missed it, enjoy research on complex networks!
Co-ops have long been celebrated as powerful vehicles for economic inclusion, social equity, and sustainable development. Central to their ethos is the principle of "Co-operation among Co-operatives." The Centre developed a conceptual framework that expands on the traditional understanding of inter-cooperation by viewing Principle 6 through the lens of complex co-op networks. Enjoy our open-source Complex Networks for Co-operative Economies report and three case studies as proof of concept.

Tom Webb on induction to Cooperative Hall of Fame
"When we began building the Master's program, we wanted it not just to meet the basic needs of co-ops but to spur students to think about what the impact might be if co-ops lived the co-op values with a level of excellence as if they really believed them. We wanted co-ops to be focused on meeting human need. We also knew bankrupt co-ops cannot meet human need so we needed to promote financial health. As you try to accomplish things you always know the result is not perfect but you hope it is at least very, very good. When colleagues and graduates from Canada and the USA nominated me for the Cooperative Hall of Fame I was surprised. It came out of the blue! But it told me that the work and dedication of the group who worked on developing the program had indeed been very, very good. I am deeply grateful to all those with whom I had the privilege to work."

Master's alum testimonial
"I waited years to find the graduate program that would teach me what I wanted to learn about being in right relationship with community, being a conscientious steward of our planet, and building the economy we deserve. The MMCCU program delivered that and so much more. I’m forever grateful to the ICCM team, faculty, and educators who helped me take my contributions to higher heights." - Electra Skrzydlewski, Director of Shared Ownership, Minnesota Consortium of Community Developers. (MCCD). MCCD works collectively to realize racial and economic justice through community development.
