NEW IBERIA, La. (September 6, 2017) --
The Shadows-on-the-Teche Fall Arts and Crafts Fair will take place in the Shadows gardens on Sat., Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 100 vendors from around Louisiana will display and sell their original work. In addition to many vendors with fine art, crafters with diverse wares will also be selling their work. From crochet to copper embossing to bath products and tea-dyed chenille bunnies, the amazing designs will be a feast for the senses.
Admission to the fair is $5 per person (12 and older) and $3 for children (ages 6-11), and includes a special tour of the Shadows. Raffle tickets will be sold to win items donated by the vendors. In addition to the arts & crafts, food and dessert vendors will offer tempting choices. Come enjoy the day with your family and friends while supporting local artists, craftsmen, and the Shadows-on-the-Teche.
The Shadows is located at 317 E. Main St. in New Iberia. All funds raised will be used for the continued preservation and maintenance of Shadows-on-the-Teche, a National Trust Historic Site.
