Dr. Jarred Lyons

Board-Certified Veterinary Radiation Oncologist


Dr. Lyons received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California at Davis and then completed three years of advanced residency training in Radiation Oncology at North Carolina State University (in conjunction with Duke and UNC). Dr. Lyons joined the Veterinary Cancer Group in Los Angeles in 2007 as Head of Radiation Oncology and now brings his expertise in the field of radiation oncology to Animal Cancer Care Clinic. Dr. Lyons has advanced the field of veterinary radiation oncology through published clinical trials, lectures, news articles and blogs, and along with being a very experienced radiation oncologist, he is also an inventor, backyard carpenter, and author of “Survivor: The Dog Days of Cancer”, a loving book about a dog going through cancer treatment.
