It's rewarding to use your Five Star card!

Since "CU Rewards" will never be a category on Jeopardy!, here are answers for members' questions about rewards:

How do I earn CU Rewards points? You earn 1 point for each $4 purchase (net) for online or in-store "signature" purchases (no PIN) made with your Five Star debit card.

Even better, earn 1 point for each $1 purchase (net) made with your Five Star Platinum Rewards credit card. Right now, earn triple CU Rewards points when you buy gasoline with your credit card.

How can I redeem points? Redeem your debit card points at www.curewards.com. You can also redeem credit card points on that site but you'll need to set up a different username and password. Or, use the easy Rewards link on our Visa website, available when you log in to CU Online. For cash back, the minimum number of points you can redeem is 2,500 ($25 cash back).

Do CU Rewards points expire? Yes, they expire after three years on December 31 (of the expiration year). When you redeem your points, the oldest points are redeemed first.

Can I apply for a credit card online? Log in to CU Online, select New Accounts/Open a New Loan Account and click on the See Available Loans button. Under the Loan Rate Board, select Platinum Rewards credit card. Click on the More Info button for disclosures and the Apply Now button to begin your online application.

Automatic savings from your checking account

CU Online (It's Me 247) now offers Debit Card Roundup. After enrolling (under Quick Links), whenever you use your debit card, we’ll round up the transaction to the next even dollar amount. At the end of each day we’ll add up the rounded-up amounts and make a single transfer for that total from your checking account to another Five Star savings or checking account of your choice!
