It's the ACBL's Club Appreciation Week. Our online games on Wednesday. Oct. 13, and Sunday, Oct. 17, will offer double black points. The cost will be $7.

There will also be double black points on Oct. 15 at the Friday face-to-Face game at 3 p.m. at the Wood River Community YMCA. We are concerned about low attendance at the Friday games. Please see the following article for details.

We've had fewer than four tables at the Friday face-to-face games in recent weeks. Because of this, we will require reservations for the Friday game by the previous Wednesday night, effective this week. Out of courtesy to all our players, we will cancel the game if we do not have enough sign-ups at that point.

If you would like for Friday face-to-face games to continue but cannot come this week, please let us know. Unless attendance improves, we may discontinue face-to-face games until December or January.

If you do make a reservation and find you have to cancel, please let Jo Murray and Jim Churchill know as soon as you possibly can. We had an unfortunate situation one week where a pair failed to show up, making it impossible to hold the game after others had taken time to come to the Y.
