Certification In-Person Exam
March 31, 2026 • Cleveland, Ohio
The Value of BHCN™:
Nationally Recognized. Clinically Grounded. Patient-Guided.
Clinicians who earn the Breast Health Clinical Navigator (BHCN™) Certification hold a nationally recognized credential that reflects excellence in patient navigation across the breast cancer continuum. This certification is achieved by a growing community of professionals nationwide who demonstrate the knowledge, clinical insight, and coordination skills required to guide patients through increasingly complex breast health and oncology care.
BHCN™ is more than a certificate of participation — it validates a navigator’s ability to:
- Guide patients through screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship with clarity and compassion
- Identify and reduce barriers to timely, equitable breast care
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care across imaging, surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and supportive services
- Support shared decision-making and patient understanding at critical points in the care journey
- Advocate for patients while aligning care with evidence-based guidelines and quality standards
The BHCN™ Certification affirms the essential role of the breast health navigator as a trusted clinical partner — improving patient experience, care coordination, and outcomes in breast centers and oncology programs nationwide.
