There are 9 new copies of the book available for $11 from myself, which includes shipping. Contact Kathleen if you would like one. It is also available at Bookstop, Amazon and eBay

Our evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. EDT, and end by 7:15 p.m. We’ll have sufficient time to discuss the manageably-sized chapters and for meditation.  Mid-week, I will share a Voice Memo from the ancillary readings for your enrichment.

Reading schedule will be sent upon registration.

EARTH, Our Original Monastery

by Christine Valters Paintner

“We live in what we might call an age of forgetting. We have forgotten who we are in relation to everything else: other creatures, the plants, the mountains, the forests, the oceans, one another and even ourselves… we are living in the fog of amnesia.  One of the fruits of contemplative practice is the remembrance of our wholeness; we are able to see past the divisions we create with our egos and minds and to rediscover the truth that we are all of one creation.” -- Christine Valters Paintner

JOIN ME, beginning April 26 for seven Sunday afternoons this spring, to consider and celebrate Earth, as our original monastery. We will be using Paintner’s book, and I’ll be sharing beautiful insights from Teilhard de Chardin’s, "Mass on the World” –the wonderful book—"The Blue Sapphire of the Mind: Notes for a Contemplative Ecology", by Douglas Christie—and maybe a few others.

Let’s welcome Spring, with a new book and meditation time.
