Join us at Heritage Park for the annual Rouge Rescue Volunteer stewardship event hosted by the Farmington Hills Nature Center and the Friends of the Rouge. Work with other volunteers on a variety of projects aimed at protecting our part of the Rouge River and its watershed. All Welcome!
Activities include removing invasive plant species, planting native plants, trash & debris removal and trail maintenance. Please dress for the weather and for working outdoors. Equipment will be provided. The first 50 volunteers will receive a
Rouge Rescue t-shirt, and a free lunch will be provided for all!

Wellness Walk and Talk
A FREE health inspired program with Beaumont Health. Health care professionals provide brief indoor presentations on topics of interest, then answer questions and engage in informal conversation with attendees on a 30 minute "wellness walk" through the Heritage Park trails.
No need to register, just show up!
