Theme: "Reimagining Our Resources"
Communities and organizations of the Inland Empire, LA County, and beyond are invited to come together to celebrate the crucial work of protecting our earth. This year's Earth Day theme is to reimagine the use of our resources and reduce waste. We hope to ignite a collaborative spirit where current needs, the needs of our planet, and the needs of future generations are met in creative ways.

Claremont Garden Tour
Sunday, April 14, 2019, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
"Claremont Eclectic: A Tour of Six Local Gardens" gives you a chance to see some creative Claremont gardens, talk to the owners, and get some inspiration for your own garden! After Earth Day in the Village, this is the next event to experience. And it's a lot of fun!
The 2019 tour will be on Sunday, April 14, from 1pm to 4pm. Tickets are still only $20, and you can buy them online at

Tickets include entrance to
Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden on the day of the tour and one other day during the following month. Start the tour at the RSABG parking lot (1500 N. College Ave) where you can pick up the brochure and a map to the gardens between 10 am and 1pm.
The proceeds of the tour allow the Garden Club to cover expenses and to make contributions that benefit the community.

SUPERNOVA Featuring Norma Tanega | Ginger Elliott Exhibition Center

Claremont Heritage will present SUPERNOVA, an exhibition featuring artwork by Norma Tanega . SUPERNOVA will feature paintings and mixed-media artworks that span several decades.
The exhibition is free and open to the public and will feature libations and hors d'oeuvres. An accompanying DJ set in the Garner House courtyard by dj diA ("Radio Realness", "Cloud Villa" - KSPC 88.7FM) and multimedia slideshow will showcase Norma Tanega's musical career. All artworks in addition to CDs and other ephemera will be available for sale.
The exhibition will run through April 15, 2019

. The site is the former Infirmary for the Claremont Colleges, designed by noted architects, Marston and Maybury in 1930.

will receive our Cultural Heritage Award
for their contribution to celebrating the community's rich artistic legacy
and promoting the cultural vitality of the region.
We will also honor
Andy and Blenda Wright for their many contributions to the Community and recognize the
Claremont Women's Club as they celebrate their Centennial Anniversary.
