Wine at Cost
Thurs 4/25 'California vs. France' Tasting Dinner

Our 'Wine @ Cost' program has returned.  Our first wine is Oliver Conti Turo Negre Red 2009 from Emporda, Spain.  It's 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.  This is your chance to try a world class wine for the price we pay.  This one is $10.50 per glass.

It's new world versus old for our next tasting dinner.  'California vs. France' will be our theme.  We'll be pouring wines selected for us by Dave Greenstein from 'The Wine Merchant', that showcase the best of both 'worlds', so to speak.  More details will be posted soon.

Cookie's Apron was painted by hands smeared with chocolate oatmeal cookie dough.  Our version is reinvisioned as a robust oatmeal stout.  This ale is a complex creation of cocoa, raisins and creamy toasted oats and tucked inside premium English pale, chocolate and biscuit malts.

 In The Tanks
While you're here, be sure to peek into the brewery to see what new beers are bubbling away inside Lynn and Leslie (our fermentation tanks are named after Peggy's sisters).  From time to time, we may decide to change the name when it comes time to tap these.  Currently fermenting are...

Wee Heavy Yo!
Scotch Ale
(brewdate 3/18)
Remember this one? Scotch Ales are big, strong and malty and this one is no exception, yo.

Lord Alvin's Mild
Mild Ale
(brewdate 3/10)
Mild ale is a low-gravity beer, or beer with a predominantly malty palate, that originated in Britian in the 17th century or earlier.  Modern mild ales are mainly dark colored with an abv of 3 - 3.6%, although there are lighter hued, as well as stronger examples reaching 6%abv or higher.
