Last week, Alysa Liu made Olympic history for U.S. figure skating, winning Gold two times. She also made history for the East Bay - with her strong ties to Richmond, Albany, and most importantly, Oakland, where she attended the Oakland School for the Arts and trained at Oakland Ice Center. Lunar New Year Across the Bay

Lunar New Year is here, and celebrations for the Year of the Horse continue this month. The 4th annual Oakland Chinatown Parade is this weekend alongside celebrations and events across the Bay Area, including the Fremont Main Library, Berkeley Public Library, and Laurel District.
