The inaugural East Bay Innovation Awards Block Party is about more than entertainment. This week, we announced nearly 30 (and counting) small businesses, community and nonprofit partners participating in the East Bay Makers Market and Expo. From sweets and wine tasting to hydrogen vehicles and soccer, our event will have a little bit of innovation for everyone.

The East Bay Innovation Awards highlights the ground-breaking companies and organizations contributing to the East Bay’s legacy of innovation. This year, nearly 200 nominations were submitted in 10 award categories. Of these, 87 nominees have advanced to the next stage. Join us on June 16th as we narrow down this group to the 2 finalists in each award category!

It's no secret that R&B legends Tony! Toni! Toné! will be headlining the East Bay Innovation Awards Block Party. We're also looking forward to highlighting other local artists including ASTU, Ballet Afsaneh, Meaghan Maples, DJ Edel, and the youth of YR Media. KBLX's very own Freska will keep the party going until we announce the 2022 iAwards finalists. Don't miss this fun-filled evening!
